Established in 1928, on 130 acres of rolling farmland in
the State of New York, Hurlbut Orchards has been a a top producer
of Macintosh and Cortland apples. A family run farm, Leroy, Pat,
and sons Leon and Craig have dedicated their lives to producing top
quality New York State apples. With an abundance of fruit and a
history of making apple wine for family and friends dating back 40
years, The Hurlbut family are now putting all of their efforts in
the retail wine business. Concentrating their efforts on eleven
blended varieties of apple wines, they have developed a product
that is reasonably priced with outstanding taste.
The original Farm Market is located on County Route 104 in New
Haven New York, One half hour from Syracuse. This is the home site
of the Ashley Lynn Winery. The wine is pressed, aged, blended, and
bottled at this location. Wine tasting is conducted daily. The farm
market also sells flowers, home and garden products, and gift
baskets.
Our newest Farm Market is located in Seneca Lake New York.
Overlooking beautiful Seneca Lake this location is operated by
Pattie and Leroy Hurlbut. A fine selection of both apple and grape
wines, wine making kits, and a large selection of wine related
merchandise are available. Wine tasting is also conducted
daily.
